Krzysztof Brejza reports that two directors have departed from the Military Counterintelligence Service. Stanisław Żaryn counters that the information presented by the KO MP is inaccurate and misleading.

A Civic Coalition MP claimed on social media that he possessed details about the two SKW directors’ decisions, asserting that they were compelled to formally resign or “throw papers.” The statement suggested internal disagreements and procedural changes within the agency during a period of transition.

In SKW, there was talk of an executive reshuffle described as an exit of directors. One figure, Z., who previously collaborated with the CBA and acted as a liaison for requests between SKW and CBA, was named, alongside director W., associated with internal affairs. The post attributed these moves to internal administrative dynamics and a shift in leadership during a sensitive time.

Żaryn’s answer

The Deputy Minister coordinating the country’s special services addressed the matter, stating that Brejza’s claims do not reflect the reality. He described the allegations as a cheap thrill and insisted that the SKW and other services are operating normally. According to his account, a portion of the public repeatedly tries to disrupt or discredit the routine functioning of Poland’s security apparatus, an effort he labeled as disturbing and unfounded.

In his post, Żaryn reiterated that security bodies continue to work as usual and that sensational claims should be treated with caution rather than as fact. The overall message emphasized stability within the intelligence community and a call for restraint in public commentary about operational matters.
