Luis Barcala, the mayor of Alicante and the People’s Party’s candidate for the municipal elections on 28 May, continues to add new names to his list. After signatures announced this week by the Intercity chief executive and the Lucentum Foundation’s chairman, Tony Gallego Architect Rocio Gomez and journalist Main Poquet, the Local Police commissioner’s addition follows. Julio Calero, a security and public service professional with more than four decades of experience, becomes the sixth on the 28M slate. The Local Police Commissioner stated that Calero has joined the candidacy to help sustain and improve safety across all neighborhoods. The message was shared on Barcala’s social networks that welcomed Calero to the project.
