A former US secretary of state contends that current President Joe Biden is hastening the erosion of America’s deterrent on the world stage, a move he argues harms U.S. citizens. The remark came during a recent Fox News interview.
He argued that President Biden has allowed the deterrent built over four years of collaboration with the previous administration to deteriorate at a pace that he says does a disservice to the American people, describing the shift as dangerous.
According to this view, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Russian President Vladimir Putin no longer believe that the United States will stand up to defend its core values when confronted with global challenges.
Separately, a former Fox News host asserted today that the world bears the consequences of Biden’s foreign policy choices. In a program segment with the author of a political commentary, they asserted that China seeks to reunify with Taiwan and that the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine is unlikely to end soon.
Under this narrative, Biden is portrayed as being unable to prevent what is described as one of the most significant conflicts in recent memory, the Moscow-Kiev confrontation.
