The socialist representative added that the document detailing the allegations notes that the 99% bonus mostly benefits high-net-worth individuals: 87.7% of heirs in 2022, about 177,400 out of roughly 200,000, paid nothing. He also highlighted that these resources account for 13% of revenue from its own taxes and from transferred taxes managed by the regional government, and referenced the impact on tax increases.

Finally, Spain pointed out that the 350 million euros donated by Mazón to wealthy families equates to the cost of hepatitis C treatment for more than 16,000 residents in the Valencian community. Critics of the opposition have gone further: before 2015, the PP blocked access to this medication, he noted, and the autonomous government and Ximo Puig reportedly helped save lives. To conclude, his argument centered on directing these 350 million to ensure that 75% of Dependency benefits reach more than 140,000 seniors and dependents, or the Valencia Participation Income for 75,000 residents.
