Alicante Digital Center Leads Efforts to Close the Digital Gap

The director of Cenid, Manuel Palomar, was invited yesterday to discuss issues tied to the problems created by terrorism and the digital divide. He argued that to prevent the social and economic disruption caused by new technologies, many people are being left behind. Cenid is actively pursuing initiatives to simplify management language and to bring electronic governance closer to older citizens, among several other programs.
