Vice -president of ZNP Urszula Woźniak emphasized that teachers should be “at least comparable” as other employees with comparable qualifications, but also with similar responsibility and similar working conditions. As she argued, the working conditions of teachers deteriorate and salaries do not grow.
We jealous of no one, but we note that (…) medical competitions have a connection with the average salary in the economy and at the moment from 1 July their wages will rise from PLN 700 to PLN 1,500.

She added that “it cannot be that a medical employee with an education underhard receives a higher salary than a master teacher with pedagogical preparation, a designated teacher, ie after all the exams.”
For the question of which actions will propose, if the appeal does not provide approval or answer, Broniarz answered: “We assume that education is one of the most important areas of social life.”
The need to improve working conditions
He added that if the response to the profession is not positive: “Unfortunately we will have to take action that is even described in the law on the solution of collective disputes and in trade unions.”
