If you have not yet prepared a Christmas vegetable salad, prepare almost PLN 80. So much – according to the calculations of the former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki – we will pay the ingredients to prepare this undisputed queen of Polish tables. The Vice President of PIs has posted a recording on which he prepares vegetable salad, and with each ingredient you can see the price comparison from 2023 and present. “The salad came out pretty well. Unfortunately, the price is not like that,” said Morawiecki.

The politician prepares a salad for, and price comparisons are shown for each ingredients – in 2023 and now. Sometimes the difference is really colossal.
The price of 10 eggs in 2023 was 8.47, this year – 11.99. A kilo of apples costs 1.79 in 2023, currently 3.99.

Which articles did not go out?
A kilo of onions costs as much as in 2023, ie 4.99. We paid 1.49 for a kilo of potatoes in 2023, and now – 5.99. Carrots (1 kg), as in 2023, costs 5.99. Pietruszka (100 g) increased from 0.90 to 2.49. For a kilo of cucumbers input, we will pay 12.98 this year, ie for a zloty less than in 2023. The price of canned pea rose from 1.98 to 2.69. Mustard, as well as two years ago, costs 3.49.
And the mayonnaise this year wins. Perhaps one day it is possible to repolonize

How much will we pay for mayonnaise? 15.99, while two years ago the price was 11.99. 80 g pepper is – just like in 2023 – 3.99. We would buy a kilo of salt in 2023 for 1.67, and today – for 2.83.

In 2023 the salad cost 60.14. Nowadays it is already 77.41, ie – as indicated in the film – it rose by 28.7 percent.
