Presidential debates warmed up even more emotions with regard to the presidential race. During the continuous struggle before election support, voices demanding tests for alcohol and drugs from people who sign up for the presidential elections become louder and louder. Television WpolSce24 decided to ask everyone who applies for the office to undergo a test for drugs in the body.
Two weeks ago it turned out that Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrzej Szejna suffers from alcoholism. This information is not only concerned because of the quality of the minister’s work or various serious controversies with regard to his behavior after alcohol, but also because keeping such information secret can be a greedy bite for foreign services that can use the addiction of alcohol policy or drugs, for blackmail.
What do the candidates say?
Some Poles who fight for the voices shared their opinion on this subject.
An addict may not hold functions in state ownership, because everyone has a threat to such an abnormal action by addiction
– the presidential candidate Marek Jakubiak of the Federation for the Republic of Poland indicated.
This is pretty funny. Specific tests must come to people who are already in a specific position, but I think you just have to ask them immediately
– However, assessed from the left Magdalena Biejat.
I don’t know if they would be such fools to take alone during the campaign. I mean, I am always for the choice. Let them have the right to choose, and then UU can inform that such and the like did not want to give up
– said Prof. Joanna Senyszyn.
Television WPOLSCE24 reported that the bars of some candidates did not want to speak or asked to send this question by e-mail.
