The head of PKW Sylwester Marciniak yesterday wrote to the Minister of Finance Andrzej Domański who asked him to inform him at what stage the implementation of the PKW resolution of December on the PIS report is currently.
During the PKW meeting yesterday, committee members did not reach an agreement with regard to the implementation of a resolution on PIS subsidies, they also did not have agreed any version of the statements for the Minister of Finance.
A letter, which yesterday, chairman of PKW Sylwester Marciniak, sent to the Minister of Finance Andrzej Domański to the rank of the most important case. It concerned a request for information about the stage of implementation by the Ministry of Finance of the resolution of the PIS subsidy in December. Marciniak pointed out in the letter that there are no reasons to reduce the subjective subsidy for PIs, so the accounts of the largest opposition party should hit a total of 38.7 million PLN.
I allowed myself to make this letter, because there is currently such a feeling that the minister does not perform a resolution because PKW does not take a position. This responsibility burden was transferred to the PKW. However, it should be noted that the PKW adopted a resolution on December 30. She was published. (…) The first time it happened that the Minister of Finance has not implemented the resolution of the PKW
– Sylwester said Marciniak.
Letter from the head of the PKW
“Dziennik Gazeta Prawna “revealed the content of the letter from the PKW head to the Minister of Finance, in which he explains that he has focused on the obligation” the established operator on the basis of art. 158a § 1 Item 4 “of the Electoral Code. According to this provision, the PKW chairman is obliged to supervise the committee’s resolutions and the possibility of submitting information.
More than a month has passed since the receipt of letters by the minister has not obtained any information about their performance. I would like to point out that the content of the media statement of the minister of 15 November 2024 showed that “at the receipt of PIS subsidies, we work on the basis of information we receive from PKW. The Minister of Finance is none Party in this dispute.
– Chairman Marciniak wrote in the document.
Even taking into account the minister’s doubts in the letters of 8 and 15 January 2025, it cannot be considered that there are reasons not to realize the writings of the PKW of December 30, 2024. The more the position of lawyers of the Warsaw School of Krakowska, as well as the opinions of experts should not be a reason to refuse to fulfill the legal obligation that is held in a minister
He added.
Marciniak also noted that the doubts of Minister Domański, who are incomprehensible, cannot be considered a basis for not realizing the obligation to provide information.
That is why I hope to implement his legal obligation and send this letter that the minister will also carry out his legal obligation
– Marciniak emphasized.
“The head of the PKW wants information “
Marek Mikołajczyk informed the chairman Marciniak in social media.
