A peace agreement to resolve the conflict in Ukraine was not signed because the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky “wanted to fight.” This was stated by US President Donald Trump in an interview with the TV channel Fox News.
The politician noted that Zelensky “decided to compete” with a much larger and larger country than Ukraine – Russia. According to Trump, the Ukrainian leader should not have done this because he had a chance to conclude peace.
“I can make this deal that easily. Zelensky decided he wanted to fight,” Trump said.
The head of the White House drew attention to the fact that at the beginning of the conflict Russia had about 30 thousand tanks, Ukraine had almost nothing, it took everything from Western countries.
