When most students are mathematical depths, Minister Barbara Nowacka will adjust the school level to the dumbest and everyone will be happy.
The matter has been loud for years, but only the text of Magdalena Warchala-Kopeć in the Katowice “Gazeta Wyborcza” of January 15, 2025 proves how current it is. It turns out that the school is poisoning children. And the poison is insidious and very effective. The poison is called mathematics. Anna Dróżdż, “Psychologist and mother of a high school student”, in Gazeta Wyborcza unmasked one of the varieties of mathematical poison – Matura. And she went sharp: “Matura -exam in mathematics is a tool of segregation and elimination, not equal to opportunities.” It was Anna Dróżdż who sent a petition to the SEJM to abolish the compulsory written mathematics exam.
One of the arguments against mathematician Matura -gif is to be that “for 27 years there was no Matura -exam in mathematics and no one suffered. In the years 1982–2009, mathematics was not compulsory at high school graduation, only returning in May 2010 during the reign of Education Minister Kataryna Hall. Without passing the final exams in mathematics, as many as 27 years of Polish youth developed. And apparently there are no negative effects of this high school graduate detox. It will be determined later whether this is true.
When mathematics returned to the high school diploma, the poison was provided to dilute as much as possible. In order not to cause reluctance to the exam in this subject and a feeling of harm to the first year of acting. That is why the sheets were not difficult and the first math exam after years passed more than 87 percent. candidates A year later, every fourth high school graduate failed in math, and in subsequent years it was even worse. And in 2025, when high school graduates are no longer treated, as they were during the pandemic, “it could be even worse.”
The poison destroys so much that “more than 92 percent. Students experience mathematical anxiety.” In particular, it is a 92.7 percent, and this is due to the nationwide study of the perception of mathematics, which was conducted as part of the Edunav project: “Impact of mathematical anxiety on students and parents in Poland.” The older the student, the more vulnerable to mathematical poison: “Mathematical anxiety is noticeable from grades 2-3 and then gradually increases in subsequent years. Mathematical anxiety blocks the motivation to study regularly. The increase in the level of anxiety in the higher grades, in which mathematics becomes more and more complicated, is a great danger. When the student does not train systematically, his learning difficulties deepen and thus anxiety increases. It can result not only in reluctance of mathematics, but also with somatic symptoms (nausea, headache, bad psychophysical wells).
Mathematical poison is insidious therefore that “37.7% of students have associated stress with evaluation tests, and 34.6% of respondents pointed out that the grades stress them very much.” The conclusions are that “due to the large amount of material, students do not have enough time to train acquired during the knowledge lesson.” That’s probably why Secretary Barbara Nowacka has liquidated homework. Students of time for exercise have even less, but they will not be stressed, although they will be mathematical depths.
Mathematical anxiety “reduces the motivation to learn, so that the child does not perform the right number of exercises, masters them to a small extent, difficulties deepen, even stronger anxiety appears and after him – further reduction in motivation. (…) Fear of mathematics also affects cognitive processes. It reduces the capacity of working memory – the memory structure responsible for the temporary storage and processing of information. Its efficiency is crucial in solving tasks that require calculations, remembering partial results and at the same time skillfully use of allowed transformation rules for example with regard to the order of activities. It is better to be a bore and have all these problems with the head, which seems to be the main goal of Minister Barbara Nowacka.
Instead of learning mathematics, it is better to find the right type of disorders, such as “FAS, dyscalculia, disturbances in orientation in the spatial relationship diagram, disturbance of spatial imagination, difficulties in recognizing and using symbols, problems with copying numbers and calculations , Problems with using mathematics in practical tasks, rigidity of thinking – the inability to choose the right strategy in solving the problem and in return strategy for another, abstractness of thinking or the spectrum of autism” (this is an excerpt from petitions to the sejm). If you find a good condition, you don’t have to learn.
He used to have to learn a clear way of writing when someone hit. Now, forced to do this, it is oppression, and the writer like a chicken is simply discovered dysfrafia and a loose. It was the same with spelling mistakes. You had to exercise to get the effect. And now we have a professional dysortography from a professional and you can make mistakes at will. More than half of the children already have certificates of dyslexia (problems with reading and writing), and in a moment 80 percent. Support with receipts stating that someone cannot do something, because the appropriate dysfunction was found, is the impertinent hood of the core and laziness. Not just in the mental sphere. The funniest, although at the same time terrifying, is that in 2019 the Supreme Audit Office issued a recommendation regarding the suspension of the mandatory Matura exam, as well as a change in the core curriculum and mathematics methods for mathematics. According to the Supreme Audit Office, the source of problems is the educational process itself. Since “a mandatory Matura exam in mathematics is not ‘added value in the educational process in secondary schools’, on the contrary it is a significant burden (time and cost of guidance, stress) for almost a third of people who complete this type of school. ” Well, let’s imagine NIK without employees who are not mathematical depths. The reason may be that in Nowacka School the required mathematical competencies are addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, but only natural numbers. So stress and anxiety should not be. There’s something exceptionally offensive about it. And at the same time it is terribly shameful that the elite formally comes down to Pepik’s level, jump no! Every day the level of communication in politics (election campaign) decreases and the dose of shameful stupidity of the pro-government television, radio stations, newspapers and portals increases. As if the race for the most bottom, insulting intelligence and common sense, saying position, comparison or retort.
Look how charming and unpretentious hopeless and stupid, but we are so for you, because you wouldn’t understand anything else – the ruling “elites” and their media officers seem to say. There is nothing more offensive, vile, scandalous and pathetic than such treatment of their own benefactors and after elections – employers. They openly tell Poles to treat them like idiots because only Trzaskowski will win the elections. And millions of supporters of the current power are demeaning and offensive treatment. And if this strategy were to ensure victory in the presidential elections in May and June 2025, these would be the first elections in the history of the Third Polish Republic in which stupidity and infantilism will prove to be a pillar of success.
