Armenia announced the need for strategic partnership with the USA 11:16

Armenia’s strategic partnership with the United States is important and will help Yerevan manage its complex geopolitical situation. The head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Ararat Mirzoyan, wrote this on the social network Kh.

“Armenian-American relations have reached such a level that their transformation into a strategic partnership is not only advisable, but also necessary for orientation in the difficult geopolitical situation,” he emphasized.

According to Mirzoyan, the strategic partnership documents signed between Yerevan and Washington will serve as a “road map” for the future development of relations.

January 14, Head of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken signed A document on the creation of a joint commission on strategic partnership in Washington. According to Mirzoyan, the document includes strengthening economic and energy ties, deepening cooperation in the field of defense and expanding people-to-people contacts.
