Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky told how, during a meeting with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, he explained to him the need to condemn Russia. His words are quoted on the Polish portal Onet.

The Ukrainian leader recalled a speech at one of the EU summits in which he drew parallels between the assassination attempt on Fico and Russia’s actions in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian President told Fico that he “did not forgive” the man who shot and arrested him. Zelensky also said that world leaders condemned the assassination attempt on the Slovak Prime Minister. According to him, he convinced the Slovak leader that shooting people is a crime and that Russia is doing exactly that and therefore should be condemned.
