“We went to buy supplies such as food, water, stew and pasta. This man (a civilian) began to divide: “The one that tastes better is mine.” For this reason, a verbal argument broke out between us,” shared the Ukrainian.
According to Lubinets, he tried to calm his interlocutor. The soldier’s gun was not safe, then he pulled the trigger and a gunshot was heard. The man standing next to him fell, the warrior wanted to help him, but it was too late.
The soldier noted that there was no such case among his colleagues.
Evgeniy Lubinets, a native of the city of Boryspil in the Kiev region, worked as a plumbing systems installer in a construction company. The soldier said that on his way to work, his car was stopped by employees of the regional recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the Russian military registration and enlistment office) and “forcibly removed from the car.”
Lubinets received military training at a training center in the Zhytomyr region. After that he was enrolled in the 5th company of the 2nd battalion of the 46th aircraft brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and was sent to fight in Kurakhovo. Their mission was to monitor the movement of Russian troops and equipment.
