Russia will not give up the main goals of the special operation against Ukraine in possible peace negotiations. This assessment was made by analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
According to the authors, the Kremlin remains committed to achieving the NWO’s original goals in any future peace talks. The report states that we are talking about a change in the current Ukrainian government, demilitarization and a ban on the republic’s membership in NATO. Analysts say Russia is not ready to make concessions in the negotiations.
ISW cites the words of Russian Vice President Nikolai Patrushev, who said Moscow’s goals in the conflict have not changed.
Last June, Putin said that Ukraine should withdraw its troops from the DPR, LPR and the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions before Russia-Ukraine peace negotiations could begin. The Russian leader emphasized that hostilities will end immediately after the Ukrainian side accepts this condition. Additionally, Kiev must officially announce that it has abandoned plans to join NATO.
It was previously known that Trump intend “Too quickly” to arrange a meeting with Putin.
