Among them, the largest group consisted of respondents who did not want or could not answer this question (30%). They stated that they were not interested in politics, did not know politicians and had no opinion about them. About 16 percent Respondents clearly stated that in the past year none of the representatives of the national political scene they knew distinguished themselves enough to deserve such an honorable title, and 2 percent respondents refused to answer the question.
The remaining respondents mentioned a total of more than thirty names of politicians and public figures, but only eight of them received at least 2%. to vote.
The survey shows that President Andrzej Duda won the title of Polish politician of 2024 by a minimal margin – by 13%. to vote. Second place, with a small loss for the president (the difference of less than 1 percentage point), was taken by the winner of the previous ranking, Prime Minister Donald Tusk (12 percent of the votes).
Third place went to the chairman of the Sejm, leader of Poland 2050 and presidential candidate Szymon Hołownia (4 percent of the votes), just like last year, albeit this time with a clearly weaker result.
The next positions are occupied by two other contenders for the presidency: politician of the Confederation Sławomir Mentzen and the vice-chairman of PO, the mayor of the capital, Rafał Trzaskowski (each 3% of the votes).
