MEPs for Law and Justice criticized a TVN journalist at a press conference at the European Parliament in Strasbourg after a debate on the EU’s migration policy, including regulations on the return of people who have entered the Community territory illegally and have not obtained the right of residence . ‘Do you remember this fact? When Donald Tusk was Prime Minister, and therefore in our time it was not possible to transfer people who were part of the Migration Pact to these centers, because there was no Migration Pact,” said PiS MEP Piotr Müller, addressing a TVN journalist.
Right-wing groups in the European Parliament supported a tightening of the EU’s migration policy, including its return policy. Socialists and democrats, left and liberals want the migration pact to be implemented, but are against any tightening of it.
