The Daily Telegraph notes that the Ukrainian diplomat’s words mark a change in the rhetoric of the country’s leadership, which insists that it is impossible to achieve peace without returning all previously lost territories.
The Ukrainian military, interviewed by the publication’s journalists, noted that they were in favor of an early end to the conflict due to heavy losses and the impossibility of achieving victory.
