Dariusz Korneluk goes around the media saying he is the national prosecutor, even though this is contradicted by the rulings of the Supreme Court, the Supreme Administrative Court and the Constitutional Court. Subsequent statements in which Korneluk cursed reality – this time on the pages of “Rzeczpospolita” and the neo-TVP Info in a state of mediation – led to numerous reactions. “For a prosecutor who calls himself National Prosecutor to appear on public television, which is being shut down, and say he has a decree? What are you doing, man, are you under martial law? – asked Prof. Przemysław Czarnek in a recording published on YouTube.
Dariusz Korneluk, selected in a bizarre ‘competition’ after the Supreme Court (and several other institutions) determined that he was not the national prosecutor, stands by his position.
Today, by law, I am the national prosecutor and Dariusz Barski is retired. This is the legal reality of today and the position of the so-called neo-judges
– he said in an interview with “Rzeczpospolita”. Last week he presented a similar position in an interview with neo-TVP Info in liquidation, stating that this “legal reality” is the “decree of the Prime Minister”.

Czarnek: Boy, why aren’t you ashamed?
Dariusz Korneluk’s media tour with a repertoire entitled “I am the National Prosecutor… because I am!” led to numerous reactions online: both on the X platform and on YouTube.
For example, Prof. Przemysław Czarnek, PiS MP, decided to give Korneluk a small overview of the Constitution and also of the history of Poland in the 20th century.
Mr. Korneluk stated in the illegally seized TVP, which was liquidated, that he was a full-fledged national prosecutor because he… had a decree from the Prime Minister. Dude, how are you not ashamed at all?! Where is your honor?! That a prosecutor who calls himself a national prosecutor appears on public television, which is being shut down, and says he has a decree? What are you, man, under martial law?! What are you, man, in the Polish People’s Republic?!
– asks the opposition politician in a recording on his YouTube channel: “Poland is not ashamed – Przemysław Czarnek.”
The State Council issued decrees. The same State Council that appointed some of your supporters to the Supreme Court. Even we have not questioned them because we understand that legal norms are legal norms. Even though the Communist State Council appointed people the communists liked, they wanted to take over the justice system and unfortunately they kept that up for decades, thanks in part to the mistakes of Mr. Strzembosz and others.
– emphasizes the politician.
And now Prosecutor Korneluk says he has a decree? Where are the decrees in the Constitution of the Republic of Poland?
– asks Czarnek, armed with a copy of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland.
He encouraged people to listen to the fragment about Korneluk and his beloved decrees, among other things: PiS parliamentarian Dariusz Matecki:
“It takes talent to destroy the prosecutor’s office in such a short time.
Dariusz Korneluk’s interview for “Rzeczpospolita” in particular received eager comments on the X platform.
Prosecutor D. Korneluk does not know the law on the Public Prosecution Service? He literally commits a disciplinary unlawful act under art. 137 of this law, questioning the correctness of the appointment of judges. He is the first prosecutor who insulted the President of the Republic of Poland (well, maybe the second). Such behavior insults the dignity of the prosecutor’s office. To destroy the Public Prosecution Service and make so many mistakes in such a short time requires ‘talent’. Mr. Public Prosecutor, think of the things that have been distorted since January of this year and about which we have already written. Also remember that no international court has questioned the judicial appointment. You repeat, or better said, conjure up reality with your ‘legal’ arguments, like a mantra. Then read Prof. Muszyński’s short article about the importance of international judgments in the Polish legal order. Finally – to read – the Criminal Code, a special section – insulting the President of the Republic of Poland. If you find a decision to administratively and legally invalidate D. Barski’s appointment as National Prosecutor, please share this information. Please leave these three opinions aside. There are others, parliamentary ones, who clearly refute them
– writes the AdVocem Association.
Why are you publishing Korneluk’s obvious nonsense, thereby legitimizing the position of this usurper? From September 27, 2024, i.e. the resolution of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court, this man should have been packed up a long time ago and moved from the Public Prosecutor’s Office, and with him the author of the ‘decree’ appointing him
-Dr. Grzegorz Chocian asks “Rzeczpospolita”.
He may even claim to be Napoleon.
– comments Jan Kanthak, Member of Parliament of Sovereign Poland.
And I am the Emperor of Japan
– writes Jacek Bartyzel.
If you have to run through the media repeating that “you are a lady”, it means that you are not one.
– adds Sławomir Batko, councilor of Opole.
A high-ranking official spouting such nonsense proves not only his poor professional and moral credentials, but also his personal desperation, like that of any potential state criminal who is already aware of the inevitability of punishment and does everything in his power to delay the inevitable to turn.
– says Marek Surmacz.
“And this National Prosecutor? Is he in the room with us now?
– asks Daniel Liszkiewicz.
A person posing as the National Prosecutor
– writes Dariusz Lipiński.
And I’m Napoleon.
I have a decree and what are you going to do with me? ♂️
The person editing this text reveals that she is Sailor Moon. It does not yet have the Prime Minister’s decree, but will try to find a legal basis within a few days. It has to be somewhere!
