“This aid is absolutely insufficient,” Law and Justice MP Zbigniew Bogucki said on Telewizja wPolce24, referring to the special flood law in force from today, which aims to help people struggling with the consequences of floods.
Today the so-called special flood law, which, among other things, assumes twelve months of support in mortgage repayments, or special support for students and entrepreneurs in flood-affected areas.
Previously, Law and Justice prepared its own proposal for a special flood law, but this was rejected.
Help comes too late
PiS MP Zbigniew Bogucki pointed out to wPolsce24 that his formation’s special bill had been drafted earlier and that if it had been passed when it appeared, the aid would already have been in place.
