Prime Minister Petr Fiala said that we must be prepared for the worst. In some regions it is called the so-called hundred-year water, i.e. a flood that occurs once every hundred years. Boris is also coming over Poland and there is a good chance that our country, in addition to dealing with the element itself, will have to deal with a wave of additional water that will flow from the Czech Republic. During the nine months of its rule, the Coalition of December 13 has not thought about a possible crisis situation, and Donald Tusk still has a poker face and sees no threat.
The Czech Hydrological and Meteorological Institute reported that in the past 24 hours until Friday, October 15, it has been raining for 24 hours or is still raining. In the Czech Republic, the second of three flood warning levels was exceeded in seven places on Friday afternoon. According to hydrologists, the most critical situation is expected during the weekend.
After the meeting of the Central Crisis Staff, particularly bad forecasts were reported for the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands region. There are no storage reservoirs for the Sázava River flowing there, and hydrologists are confident that it will not remain in the riverbed. The second most dangerous area in the Czech Republic is the Jeseníky Mountains, located on the border with Poland. This is where the rainfall is expected to last the longest and be the most intense.
In Jeseníky, the local flood control team decided to start evacuating several buildings. 125 high school students who attended an integration camp were evacuated from the Brno region, almost 200 km to the south.

Therefore, the territorial defense forces were alerted, and Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Minister of the Interior Tomasz Siemoniak took part in a briefing of the services at the office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. Among other things, presented: reports from the regions most at risk of flooding: Lesser Poland, Opole, Lower Silesia, Lubusz and Silesia.

During the press conference of Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration, Tomasz Siemoniak, the question was asked what Poland would do with the water discharged from the Czech Republic.
