Azerbaijan has officially applied to join BRICS, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The intergovernmental organization, established in 2006, currently includes Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran and the UAE.
