Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that the international community, especially the countries of the Islamic world, should intensify their efforts to ensure an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by TASS.

During his meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Erdogan emphasized that Turkey will continue to make efforts to stop Israel.

The Turkish President added that Islamic states should also ensure uninterrupted humanitarian aid to the Palestinians.
