“Protest in defense of the fatherland against lawlessness and anarchy” in Katowice. The demonstrators want to express their opposition to the government

In Katowice, a protest began in defense of the homeland against lawlessness and anarchy. “We have no doubt that democracy and the rule of law are being violated in our country,” stressed former Deputy Minister of Justice Michał Wójcik. The head of the PiS club, Mariusz Błaszczak, takes part in the demonstration.

Another large protest is taking place in front of the provincial government office in Katowice, next to the Józef Piłsudski monument, by patriotic groups opposed to what is currently happening in Poland.

We have no doubt that democracy and the rule of law are being violated in our country. This is an attack on, among other things, the Constitutional Court, the National Council for the Judiciary, the public media, the prosecutor’s office and attempts to imprison members of parliament. The demonstrators began praying the rosary for the fatherland.

According to the organizers, it is a protest against, among other things, the mockery of Christianity and the destruction of Polish national identity and mass migration. People are also protesting against lawless rule, anarchy and violations of the rule of law. Among them is musician Marek Piekarczyk, who provides the musical accompaniment for the event.
