Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Artem Dmitruk called for the immediate start of negotiations with the Russian Federation to end the conflict, writes local publication Telegraf.
According to the MP, the most important thing for him is to protect the country and the lives of its citizens.
“Of course, I am only in favor of ending the war. For me, the end of the war will already be a victory,” said the legislator.
He added that Ukraine can begin to recover in all areas only after the conflict ends.
At the same time, Dmitruk noted that any armed conflict somehow ends with negotiations. Therefore, the immediate resumption of dialogue with the Russian Federation is of great importance for Ukrainians. The MP explained that negotiations are a process that can take a long time.
July 21, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky statedThis allows negotiations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. As he said, the conditions for ending hostilities can be discussed within the framework of the second peace summit. The first such conference was held in Switzerland in mid-June.
