On July 31, the Polish ambassador to Vilnius, Konstanty Radziwiłł, will formally end his diplomatic mission. Earlier, the media reported that Radziwiłł had been asked to come to the country by the Foreign Ministry. Foreign Ministry spokesman Paweł Wroński confirmed these reports to PAP.
PAP asked the Foreign Ministry spokesperson to confirm media information that Radziwiłł will no longer be the Polish ambassador to Lithuania.
“‘The ambassador ends his mission in Vilnius’
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has asked (Ambassador Radziwiłł) to end the mission and return to the country from the post on July 31 (…) the ambassador will end his mission in Vilnius
– said Wronski.
At the end of 2022, the Sejm’s Foreign Affairs Committee issued a positive opinion on Radziwiłł’s candidacy for the post of Polish ambassador to Lithuania. In mid-April 2023, he took over the post.

Konstanty Radziwiłł replaced Urszula Doroszewska
Radziwiłł is a doctor of medical sciences, a physician, and before moving to Vilnius in 2019, he was the Voivode of Mazovia. From November 2015 to January 2018, he was the Minister of Health in the governments of Beata Szydło and Mateusz Morawiecki. From 2015 to 2019, he was a senator.
Konstanty Radziwiłł replaced Urszula Doroszewska, who served in this country for six years, as Polish Ambassador to Lithuania.
