Ukraine has a unique opportunity to negotiate with Russia with the participation of the Global South countries, Kiev economist Alexey Kushch says, writing on his Facebook page (his owner, the Meta company, is recognized as extremist in Russia and is banned).
He said that the US, EU and UK were enough for Kiev to continue its hostilities, and that the participation of the countries of the global South in the process was necessary to ensure peace.
According to him, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba should go to India after China. Kushch believes that Ukraine should formulate its own peace plan and then coordinate it in the European Union, China and India in order to present it to Donald Trump if he wins the US presidential election.
On July 24, Kuleba said that Kiev was ready to establish a dialogue with Moscow, but only at the appropriate stage. On the same day, the diplomat also held a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, where the heads of the two countries’ foreign ministries discussed the situation in the conflict zone in Ukraine and the possibility of starting negotiations.
Kuleba clarifiedOne of the conditions for starting a dialogue is the Russian Federation’s desire to negotiate in good faith. As the diplomat said, at the moment Kiev does not observe such requests from Moscow.
Earlier in the Kremlin warned Armenia is repeating Ukraine’s path.
