The main versions of the murder of the former People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Irina Farion were personal enmity and socio-political activities. The head of the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko announced this on his Telegram channel.
The minister stated that law enforcement agencies did not rule out the possibility that an order was given to kill the former MP.
“The police, together with the SBU officers, are carrying out a series of measures to find the attacker. We are also using technical capabilities to identify the attacker,” he said.
Before that Klimenko statedInvestigators acknowledge there is a “Russian trace” in the Farion murder. They also said a bullet casing was found at the scene.
On July 19, an attempt was made on the life of Irina Farion in Lviv: the woman was shot in the temple area near her house, doctors could not save her. Farion is known for her harsh statements about Russia and the Russian language.
Last November, he had a fight with Azov fighters (an organization recognized as terrorist and extremist and banned in Russia)* after he stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) did not accept Russian-speaking military personnel and did not consider them Ukrainians. Former battalion commander Maxim Zhorin threatened him with “Lvov brothers”. Details – inside material “Newspapers.Ru”.
