Tomasz Mraz, together with Roman Giertych, has already revealed details of alleged irregularities at the Justice Fund several times. Accompanied by a well-known lawyer, the current minor key witness was given the opportunity to tell his story to the media. Opponents of Mraz and Giertych’s revelations do not have such a privilege. Why? As wPolityce.pl discovered, prosecutor Piotr Woźniak, delegated to the National Prosecutor’s Office, the “host” of the investigation, did not agree. What are Adam Bodnar and his usurpers in PK afraid of?

Woźniak’s response to the extensive request of Father Olszewski’s defenders and two Justice Ministry officials, who were imprisoned with him in late March this year, amounts to only one sentence.
(…) I want to inform you that I do not give permission for the publication of material from the investigation files in any form whatsoever. Prosecutor’s Office (…)
– we read Woźniak’s response in one sentence to the request of lawyers representing the arrested priests. Olszewski and two officials of the Ministry of Justice.
The defense wants to make the following available to the media, among other things: the content of the accusation against suspect Urszula D. (one of the officials of the Justice Fund who was arrested together with Father Olszewski), the content of the report of her explanation and the content of the report of Mraz’s explanation.
performances by Mraz
Why did the defense demand the disclosure of some of the investigation material? He has valid reasons. These include: public appearances by Tomasz Mraz, who, according to the defense attorneys of the arrested people, slanders them and in several cases does not tell the truth. The defense also wants to know whether the Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation into the disclosure of investigation secrets by Mraz. This is a very legitimate question. Although Roman Giertych argues that there can be no disclosure, independent prosecutors and lawyers think differently. The former, in the person of prosecutors Michał Ostrowski and Robert Hernand, even submitted a report to the prosecutor’s office on the possibility of a crime by Mraz and Giertych, possibly revealing the secret of the investigation. The lawyers for the detainees also want to know whether Mraz’s defenders have been in any way authorized by the National Public Prosecution Service to reveal the secrets of the investigation.
Unfair treatment
Another particularly scandalous issue is the question of access to the interrogation files of the supposedly repentant former director of the Justice Fund, which are censored by lawyers in front of the lawyers, sometimes ‘to the extreme’.
From the very beginning of the investigation, Father Michał Olszewski and the officials detained with him have been treated unfairly, especially in the context of Tomasz Mraz and his public appearances with Roman Giertych. The very fact of their arrest is a shocking example of an attempt to intimidate certain political circles, and not only in Poland. Father Olszewski’s account of the first tens of hours after his arrest, revealed by the weekly “Sieci”, only confirms public opinion in this belief. Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s public threats against journalists will not change this picture.
