“To Michał Olszewski. Father, you are not my confessor, I would not have the courage to kneel before you in the confessional, but I know that God touches with suffering those priests whom he has chosen above others,” wrote Judge Piotr Schab on the X website, referring to the shocking letter revealed in the weekly “Sieci”, in which Fr. Michał Olszewski, head of the Profeto Foundation, describes the way he was treated by law enforcement agencies.
Wojciech Biedroń in the article “60 hours of hell” quotes excerpts from the heart letter, which demonstrate the brutality of the ABW officers and prosecutors, who treated the priest as the worst bandit and terrorist.
I was taken to the “hole”. From 6am I was chained up all day (even during physiological activities). My handcuffs were never removed. I heard there is no food and no water right now. I begged for half a bottle of tap water, brought a bottle that was in the cell. When I asked to be taken to the toilet in the morning, I heard: “Go to her,” reports the priest. […] When I returned to my cell, I cleaned it up after the previous tenant and fell down dead. After a short while, the light suddenly came on. It turned out that I was under “special supervision”. Hence the camera, handcuffs, even when crossing the street, and isolation from others […], wake up to light all night long, every hour! That was also the case for the first two weeks.”
– we read in the letter from Fr. Olszewski, who reveals Wojciech Biedroń in the weekly magazine “Sieci”.

“The Father’s sacrifice is not just a sign
Father, you are not my confessor, I would not have the courage to kneel before you in the confessional, but I know that God touches with suffering the priests whom He has chosen above others, just like the Polish priests who were carried to the confessional in 1864. red, deadly wilderness, so that they would not do that. There were witnesses to the truth, just like the priests who were taken from Poland and beaten in Dachau, like the sons of the Church, stripped of their dignity by the criminals of 1981… .
– wrote judge Piotr Schab on website X.
Well, I am sure that the Father’s sacrifice is not only a sign, but also a defense of our nation against those who carefully calculate how much money Poland must return to the legal successor of the Nazi state for the bullets fired in August 1944 during the massacre of Warsaw Wola; after all, the SS activities at that time were undertaken for the common good…
– the judge noted.
Wola is the district of the beautiful Church of St. Augustine. This is a place that has experienced terrible suffering. This is the place the Father has in his heart. We will not forsake the Father
– he emphasized.
