Russia will not receive data on the foreign investigation into explosions on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines and even now does not have information about the results of the investigation allegedly carried out by German forces. The diplomat reminded that Sweden and Denmark had already closed the investigation and could not get any results.

According to Lavrov, Germany is once again avoiding Russia’s official demands, despite the fact that the natural gas pipelines belong to it, and is not specifying how the alleged investigation is progressing.

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that this goes beyond the limits of morality and the legal framework.

Explosions occurred on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines on September 26, 2022. Germany, Denmark and Sweden claimed that they were targeted for sabotage. Nord Stream’s operator, Nord Stream AG, reported that damage to gas pipelines was widespread and it was impossible to predict the repair timeline. The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office initiated a lawsuit regarding the international terrorist act.
