Ecuador’s parliament has apologized for President Daniel Noboa’s comments about other Latin American leaders. Document with: attractive It was published on the website of the Ecuadorian legislature.
“The Plenum of the National Assembly, with 86 votes in favor, approved a resolution condemning President Daniel Noboa’s statements published in The New Yorker magazine about the presidents of El Salvador, Colombia, Chile and Argentina. ” announced the MPs.
The Parliament also requested that Noboa refrain from expressing personal opinions about the political personalities of other Latin American countries; because this greatly damages the country’s international image and disrupts bilateral relations.
Daniel Noboa spoke negatively about the presidents of neighboring countries in an interview with an American publication – calling Colombian president Gustavo Pedro a “leftist snob” and Argentine President Javier Miley being “obsessed” with him.
Previously Ecuadorian officials in the name raided the Mexican embassy to defend sovereignty.
