Marcin Horała, Jan Filip Libicki and Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus spoke on Radio ZET about the results of the European Parliament elections and the related problems of Donald Tusk’s coalition partners. “Mr. Donald Tusk ate his starters very effectively,” said Marcin Horała
The PiS MP directly judged that the poor election results of the Third Way and the Left in the European Parliament elections were the result of the well-thought-out and cynical policies of Donald Tusk.

He ate his starters very efficiently
– he said.
The government will be in power for a few more years, although it is a pity for Poland and we will return to power safely. This is a possible scenario. However, I believe that we must also draw conclusions and enter new areas more aggressively and courageously
– Horała added.
Will the left draw conclusions from the election defeat?
The representative of the left, Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus, who won a mandate in the European Parliament, assured that her party would not be pacified by Donald Tusk, mainly because of the deep and established traditions of this movement in Poland.
We, the New Left, are a large party with traditions and we will not allow ourselves to be sucked into another party
– she noted.
Just because we have fallen now doesn’t mean we have to stay on this ground, we just have to pick ourselves up and do everything we can to make this outcome better in the future.
– she added with conviction.
The new MEP pointed out that one of the main problems her party faces is the fact that the Razem party remains outside the government structures, even though it is in the coalition.
Due to the fact that part of the left is in government and part is outside government, our voters do not understand it at all. […] There are rumors of a breakup, but you need to put your emotions aside, get enough sleep and then make decisions
– said the former Deputy Minister of Culture.

The specter of the disintegration of the Third Way
PSL Senator Jan Filip Libicki, in turn, commented on the situation of his party, which cannot boast of a satisfactory election result under the Third Way. Libicki concluded that PSL’s shortcomings are the result of the People’s Party’s voters’ lack of discipline.
I would like to warn against such conclusions about dissolution drawn by prominent figures of our political ally. This is what I would recommend to both ladies from Poland 2050
– emphasizes Senator Jan Filip Libicki.
In the context of next year’s presidential elections, he added that if Poland 2050 wanted to solve the Third Way formula, no one could complain that PSL would not support Szymon Hołownia in the 2025 presidential elections.
If our allies are talking about a split before the presidential elections, it is difficult for us to stick to Szymon Hołownia’s candidacy.
– said Jan Filip Libicki.
