The results of the European Parliament (EP) elections made it possible to “slow down the train” that was taking the region to another war. He made such a statement in an interview with a TV channel. M1 Made by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
The head of government noted that he had many times described the European Parliament elections as an opportunity to slow or stop the world’s descent into armed conflict. This applies to both the USA and European countries.
“If we cannot bring these two pieces together, if we cannot win this peace-war struggle, then we will soon be dragged into war in Europe,” Orbán warned.
As a result, he added, the EP elections turned out exactly “as he planned and wanted”. Thanks to this, the European Union managed to slow down the approach of war. Moreover, the dissolution of the parliament in France gave the opportunity to completely stop the relevant “train” to the region.
As the Hungarian Prime Minister stated, the country that most resolutely advocates armed conflict is France. That is why Orban described the dissolution of the republic’s legislature as a real “political earthquake”.
“Parliamentary elections need to be held there and have already been held, because those who support peace won with tremendous strength and a large number of votes,” he explained.
According to him, the victory of pro-peace parties in the elections in France will fulfill one of the conditions for preventing war. After that, all that remains is to wait for the second condition, that is, former US President Donald Trump to win the presidential election.
