The chairman of the State Commission on Pedophilia, Karolina Maria Bućko, confirmed today that she had submitted a request to the President of the Sejm to dismiss two members of the commission. She added that these were allegations related to mobbing.
This morning, Onet and RMF FM reported that the chairman of the Sejm had received a request to dismiss two members of the State Commission on Pedophilia elected by the Sejm. It’s about Barbara Chrobak and Hanna Elżanowska. They were allegedly accused by employees of mobbing, mismanagement and abusing their position.

The chairman of the committee confirmed that on February 19 she had submitted a request to the chairman of the Sejm to dismiss two members of the committee. She added that regarding the events related to mobbing allegations, an independent legal commission was established last year, consisting of both lawyers and psychologists. The committee had to judge the employees’ complaints as absolutely justified and requiring further intervention. She said more than 80% of people were affected by mobbing. staff.
Bućko recalled that she was elected chairman of the State Commission on Pedophilia by the Sejm on December 7 last year. As she said, her goal was “first and foremost to support injured people and work for them.”

Bućko emphasized that she could not imagine “continuing this cooperation”.

Crisis in the committee
She pointed out that her predecessor had sent letters to then Marshal Witek, with reservations about one of the committee members.
Unfortunately, this case did not see the light of day and was not pursued further. I hope that the application I submitted will be processed. It is not my place to review these materials. She belongs to the bodies that appointed these committee members
– she added.
She emphasized that before the advice on bullying of employees was issued by two members of the committee, an explanation procedure was conducted to which all parties to the conflict were invited.
However, one member decided not to actively participate in this procedure – she was not interested in it
– she noted.
She pointed out that at this point it is difficult to say that the crisis in the committee is under control.
