“We will lose some meetings because this is the logic of the December 13 coalition, this anti-PiS coalition. However, I think there is also no point in talking about it definitively here,” Michał Dworczyk, a law and justice MP, emphasized on Telewizja wPoland. “Our leaders, our politicians, including: from eastern Poland said they started talks with different political formations,” he added. He also hopes “that such negotiations will take place, as a result of which PiS will co-govern several meetings.”
In response to the question of who won the local elections, Dworczyk emphasized that Poles won them.
Not as many as we expected, but we participated in the elections in quite large numbers, there was a good turnout and the Poles voted, so the largest percentage points – when it comes to regional assemblies – were obtained by Law and Justice.
– said Dworczyk in a conversation with Tadeusz Płużański.
Party signs come second

We will lose some meetings because this is the logic of the ‘December 13 coalition’, this anti-PiS party. However, I don’t think there is anything more conclusive to say about this. Our leaders, our politicians, including: from Eastern Poland said they started talks with different political formations. For us, the most important thing is to build stable coalitions that will work for the benefit of the residents of a particular voivodeship. Party signs come second in this case. We hope that the Civic Coalition and other formations that form the ruling coalition today will approach this in a similar way, that is, they will be guided by the well-being of residents.
– emphasized the politician.

Dworczyk was also asked whether, unlike the situation in parliament, Law and Justice has coalition capabilities in local governments.
The answer to this question will be given in the coming days and weeks. I believe so. I trust that most politicians, especially those from local government, enter politics to work for the well-being of residents. We observe with concern the actions of Civic Platform politicians, especially those who want to transfer the policies of the Sejm to the voivodeship, poviat and municipal levels, which is a bad solution. At the level of the voivodeship, municipality or poviat, councilors know best with whom to build a good alliance, who is credible and with whom it will be possible to form a good coalition. And I hope that such negotiations will take place, as a result of which Law and Justice will co-govern several meetings.
– said the PiS MP.
Regain the trust of voters in big cities
Dworczyk also spoke – in the context of PiS’s victory in the regional parliaments – about the upcoming European Parliament elections.
I would very much like what happened yesterday to become a trend and for us to enter the European campaign on these good waves, but of course we cannot be hurray optimistic here, we have to work hard. Moreover, we need to reanalyze the local government campaign and the parliamentary campaign. And once again draw conclusions about what happened, that during the local government campaign we managed to achieve such a good result, without equal access to the media (…), without having a number of instruments at which the current ruling coalition. I am convinced that we will draw these conclusions and start the European campaign well
– emphasized the politician.
He also noted that big cities pose a very big challenge for the United Right.
These elections have shown it. In large cities the result is absolutely unsatisfactory. (…) I believe that we will be able to develop such solutions, such proposals and such a course of action to regain the confidence of voters in big cities
– said Michał Dworczyk.
