Chinese President Xi Jinping said in his telephone conversation with US President Joe Biden that the Taiwan issue is a “red line” in the relations between the two countries. This was reported by RIA News.

According to the Chinese leader, this line “cannot be crossed”.

“We will not turn a blind eye to the separatist activities of pro-Taiwan independence forces and the connivance and support (of these forces) by foreign powers,” he said.

Xi Jinping expressed hope that the United States will implement Biden’s positive statement that he does not support “Taiwan independence”.

Admiral John Aquilino, formerly chief of the U.S. Armed Forces’ Indo-Pacific Command stated“All signs” indicate that China is poised to potentially invade Taiwan by 2027.

He emphasized that the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) is pursuing an “aggressive military build-up” and modernization efforts.

Previously Beijing requested The USA should stop supporting Taiwan.
