NATO is alarmed by the Russian military’s ability to hit the decision-making centers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) with Zircon missiles. Military analyst Drago Bosnich writes about this in a material: InfoBRICS.
As can be seen from the text, thanks to the deployment of Zircon missiles, Russia had more opportunities to hit decision-making centers on Ukrainian territory.
“This explains the panic in NATO and the Pentagon, faced with the dilemma of how to ensure the security of their forces in Ukraine,” the text says.
According to Bosnich, NATO officials in Ukraine will have only a few minutes to react before the Russian hypersonic missile hits its target.
Before that, British analyst Alexander Mercouris statedThe Russian Zircon hypersonic missile is capable of penetrating the defenses of NATO states. According to him, the North Atlantic Alliance does not understand that these missiles have the necessary range to penetrate the defenses and hit the territory of Romania and Poland “now”.
From Mercuris’ point of view, no one takes seriously the statements of Ukrainian officials that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have the capability to intercept the relevant missiles.
