91 out of 100 specific details announced for the first 100 days of the government were not implemented, including: The main promise, namely increasing the tax-free amount to PLN 60,000, was not fulfilled. PLN – emphasized the Confederation’s parliamentarians. They called on voters to keep this in mind in the upcoming elections.
Friday marks 100 days since Prime Minister Donald Tusk occupied the government, which was co-founded by KO, Lewica and Trzecia Droga.
These 100 days are a time of lies, only 9 out of 100 specific details were implemented by Mr Tusk, Mr Hołownia and Mr Czarzasty
– Confederation MP Krzysztof Mulawa said at a press conference on Friday, summarizing the implementation of the promises made by KO during the election campaign.
Mulawa judged that the “ideal summary” of the KO “100 specifics” program for the first 100 days of the government is the implementation of the promise to prepare a bill increasing the tax-free amount to PLN 60,000. zloty.
We can already hear that it was a joke, (…) they do not intend to revise this important, in fact the most important element of 100 details
– added.
Confederation MP Marcin Sypniewski recalled that an increase in VAT on food to 5% will come into effect from April.
There should have been a tax cut, but we have increased VAT on food, which mainly affects the poorest inhabitants of our country
– he pointed.
He said Donald Tusk’s rise to power was “supposed to be the beginning of a smiling and open Poland, but farmers were clubbed during protests.” He added that Confederation MPs who took part in the farmers’ protests also suffered.
According to Sypniewski, the Prime Minister announced the suspension of the presence of technical grain from Ukraine in Poland, and “we are completely insensitive to this demand of farmers and the government does not understand their tragic situation.”
There should have been a serious foreign policy, but we withdrew the complaints about the Green Deal, which is harmful to Poland, and the support for this madness.
– added.
On behalf of the Confederation, the MP appealed to Poles to remember “during this series of elections” that “the promises had not been kept.”
At the end of the conference, MPs cut a special cake with the prime minister’s image, which, as Mulawa said, was intended to “sweeten this time of lies.” He announced that they would like to meet the head of government and offer him a piece of cake.
Earlier on Friday, another Confederation politician, Deputy Chairman of the Sejm Krzysztof Bosak, rated the first hundred days of Donald Tusk’s government as a “two”. As he said on Radio Plus on Friday, the past three months have been full of chaotic movements, divisions of positions within the government and attempts to govern through resolutions and messages.
He added that “there are actually no government projects that implement the program of the coalition parties in the Sejm.”
Instead, we try to govern through resolutions, press releases, or regulations that break the law. I mean the issue of the media and the prosecution
– said Bosak.
Tusk’s recording
In a recording published on social media on Friday, Prime Minister Tusk said, among other things: while governments initially received a hundred days of peace, his government did not. He announced that the implementation of promises would be accelerated. Listing the government’s achievements, he said, among other things: about “recovering PLN 600 billion from EU funds in one month”, paying increases for teachers and the budget, and in a moment – he added – there will be the so-called grandmother’s allowance, i.e. PLN 1,500 per month for childcare.
Last fall, during the election campaign, KO presented the so-called “100 special features for the first 100 days.” These include: increasing the tax-free amount to PLN 60,000. PLN, unblocking EU funds, introducing the so-called “grandmother”, i.e. PLN 1,500 per month for childcare, in vitro financing from the state budget, access to “emergency contraception” without a prescription and the possibility of abortion feed until the 12th week of pregnancy, 30%. increases for teachers, depoliticizing the public media and ridding the courts of political influence, holding the PiS government to account and returning to the flat-rate system for settling health insurance premiums.
