Not many of the hundred details announced by Donald Tusk for the first hundred days of government have been achieved, but the coalition prime minister already provided a justification on December 13. He announced that it was the fault of Law and Justice, which left the state in complete disarray. Therefore, all energy was spent on ‘cleaning up’ the existing mess. He also announces further acts of “establishing order” and accelerating actions. A motion to summon the NBP president to the State Tribunal will be filed within days. An astonishing form of batting infantilism. And complacency is growing.
“They left us with record debt, pervasive corruption, a depraved media, a partisan prosecutor’s office, chaos in the courts, thousands of relatives and friends in businesses, agricultural shambles, discredited diplomacy, a veto-wielding president and a partisan party member in the National Bank. of Poland. Let’s finish and speed up the cleaning!”
– Tusk announced on Twitter, trying to cover up his own tardiness with this hateful attack.
There is still no agreement with the farmers, the violent suppression of their protests has failed to scare them, public support for the strikers is not waning and EU dignitaries are unwilling to actually withdraw from the ideological assumptions of the Green Deal. Donald Tusk already knows that serious trouble is about to begin. And this is just the beginning. High prices will hit Poles any day now, and the liquidation of the energy shield introduced by PiS in July will cause a massive financial collapse. For now, he is feeding his electorate by announcing further political revenge, but this may soon prove insufficient. However, voters cannot feed on hatred, and expectations from abroad for help in seizing power are becoming increasingly apparent.
On December 13, the coalition began using new tactics. By collapsing the state and taking over institutions by force, he is raising the alarm about the terrible state of the country, inherited from his predecessors. The powerlessness of the cause is masked by hatred, and key projects are replaced by apparent activity. However, the determination in the process of destroying social structures is incredible. In vitro, the morning-after pill, the destruction of education, abortion on demand, civil partnerships for homosexuals – these are the ambitions of the Tusk government.
Contempt and self-admiration are intertwined in a hysterical contradiction. And so far, Donald Tusk’s greatest achievement is the silver YouTube button, which he showed off today with childish joy. It’s a shame that he doesn’t limit his activities to online speeches by influencers. His hatred takes the form of specific decisions, resolutions and regulations. Forceful takeover of public media, liquidation of radio stations, dissolution of important cultural institutions, withdrawal from reparations, termination of important contracts, halt of investments, melting of sovereignty. All this in less than 100 days. It’s scary to think what will happen next. Because contempt for the opponent and narcissistic self-admiration is the most dangerous mix for an influential politician.
