This would be an incredible scandal: the Chief Police is considering submitting applications to lift the immunities of three PiS parliamentarians, including party chairman Jarosław Kaczyński. The most scandalous reason is this. This concerns the parliamentarians who remove plaques with false inscriptions regularly placed in front of the monument to the victims of the catastrophe – on the Smolensk monthly magazines – by the so-called activist Zbigniew Komosa.
‘Activist’ provocations
Police are investigating the destruction of the wreath in front of the Smolensk monument in Warsaw. This concerns the situation involving Law and Justice politicians: President Jarosław Kaczyński, MP Anita Czerwińska and MP Marek Suski.
In the following month after the Smolensk disaster, a delegation of PiS politicians, including the party chairman, Jarosław Kaczyński, laid a wreath in front of the monuments of President Lech Kaczyński and the victims of the 2010 Smolensk tragedy. Previously, ‘activist’ Zbigniew appeared Komosa on Piłsudski Square with a plaque “In memory of the 95 victims of Lech Kaczyński, who, ignoring all procedures, ordered the pilots to land in Smolensk under extremely difficult conditions,” which he placed in front of the door. the monument. There were skirmishes and an attack on President Jarosław Kaczyński.

In October last year Jarosław Kaczyński approached the wreath and then destroyed the said plaque. In the following months, Anita Czerwińska and Marek Suski did this too. The latter destroyed the wreath twice, including last Sunday’s incident
– wrote the Onet portal, which was the first to report on the procedure regarding the destruction of the wreaths.
Things are still ongoing
According to the spokesperson of the Warsaw Police Commander, Deputy Inspector Robert Szumiata, the investigation into the events is being conducted at the Warsaw I District Police Station, in accordance with the Code of Conduct for Minor Offenses.

He added that after collecting materials in such cases, they are sent to the Metropolitan Police Headquarters, which, as part of legal assistance, turns to the Police Headquarters and finally the case is referred to the Chairman of the Sejm .
The member in question is then asked whether he agrees to waive his immunity. If he agrees, he will be fined by the court. And if you don’t agree, there will be a vote in parliament. For now, the cases are still ongoing and no one’s immunity has been lifted in connection with these situations
– explained Szumiata.
There was no “destruction of the wreath”
However, as Onet discovered, the police are considering requests to lift the immunity of PiS parliamentarians. This may also be evident from the arrival of the head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, Marcin Kierwiński.
In response to numerous questions last Sunday (i.e. March 10), I would like to assure you that all violations of the law will be dealt with, even if they concern people with immunity.
– wrote Kierwiński.
Anita Czerwińska responded strongly to Kierwiński’s entry.
There was no ‘destruction of the wreath’. We have removed the plaque with false content that has been defamed lately. President L. Kaczyński. Attackers possessed by hatred continually disrupt celebrations, register gatherings and break the law. Unacceptable
– emphasized the PiS MP.
