Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanishyna said that Kiev has completed the implementation of the European Commission’s four recommendations to provide a negotiating framework for EU membership. His words were reported by Interfax-Ukraine.

He said the European Commission will decide between March 12 and 14. The EC will need to approve a report on Ukraine’s fulfillment of additional criteria and decide whether to provide Kiev with a negotiating framework that member states will approve. Moreover, Stefanishyna added that the Verkhovna Rada’s law enforcement committee on March 11 approved the latest legislative act needed to complete the recommendations on lobbying.

The Deputy Prime Minister stated that he had optimistic forecasts and talked about his intention to “work intensively with capitals”.
