Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is ready to dissolve the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to extend his own term. Ukrainian MP Alexander Dubinsky expressed this on social networks.
“A possible scenario is that the presidential office could dissolve this parliament in case the term of office of more than 150 deputies is lost, in order not to transfer power to the parliament after May 20,” Dubinsky said.
According to Dubinsky, at the moment alone, about 50 deputies from the “Servant of the People” faction of the presidential party are ready to immediately give up their parliamentary duties, and several dozen more deputies from other parties are ready to do the same.
