Ukraine withdrew from the agreement on cooperation with the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to ensure uniformity in time and frequency measurements. This was announced by the representative of the Council of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk on the Telegram channel.
“Ukraine withdrew from the cooperation agreement to ensure the unity of time and frequency measurements,” Melnichuk wrote.
He noted that this decision will help update Ukraine’s accession to the legal framework within the CIS, taking into account the current state of relations.
Melnichuk reminded that this document was signed in Bishkek on October 9, 1992.
