Minister Adam Bodnar boasted that the Batory Foundation controlled the process of creating the draft amendments of the Constitutional Tribunal, which, according to the head of the Ministry of Justice, proves the involvement of independent circles in the process of creating legislation in Poland.
This is also a draft law on the Constitutional Court. I wanted to highlight the social law drawn up by non-governmental organizations. The entire process was coordinated by the Batory Foundation, including the provisions introducing the Law on the Constitutional Tribunal and, finally, the law aimed at amending the Constitution in the context of the functioning of the Constitutional Tribunal and introducing of the principle of direct application of the Constitution by common courts.
