“We offer Poland an open, positive approach. We declare that our candidates for councils, presidents, heads of municipalities and mayors are ready to work together, ready to build and act together,” Radosław Fogiel, a law and justice MP, told the wPolityce.pl portal .
“We say YES,” said PiS President Jarosław Kaczyński, as well as the candidates for mayors of cities participating in today’s convention in Szeligi near Warsaw, as well as those running for regional assemblies. During the event we heard, among others: speeches by Tobiasz Bocheński who is running for Mayor of Warsaw, Natalia Nitek-Płażyńska who is running for Pomeranian Voivodeship Assembly or Lucjusz Nadbereżny who is running for re-election as President of Stalowa Wola.

““An open, positive approach”
We asked PiS MP Radosław Fogel to summarize today’s convention and the current moment of the campaign.
Today, with this Local Government Congress, we have opened what is probably the most important, fundamental phase of the election campaign for the local government elections. We presented our motto: This is what we stand for. We are for development, cooperation, family, local communities and small homelands. But also for investments such as CPK, such as ports. We say yes to a rich, happy Poland
– emphasizes the parliamentarian.
All this in contrast to the government, which is constantly in favor of it. No when it comes to keeping election promises and continuing investments, no when it comes to remembering our heroes. We offer Poland an open, positive approach. We declare that our candidates for councils, presidents, municipal heads and mayors are willing to work together, ready to build and act together
– he adds.
Local government elections are important, but also difficult – for Law and Justice, especially in the largest cities. Is there any chance this can be reversed?
First of all, I believe that we will win these elections and that most Poles will trust us again. I believe that we will retain power in parliaments. Of course we will also fight hard in the cities. And I hope there are at least a few surprises in store
– says the interlocutor of the wPolityce.pl portal.
““No micromania and no complexes”
In recent weeks we have managed to mobilize Poles within the party and political divisions surrounding the CPK issue. Does what we have heard in the speeches of the PiS president, but also in the speeches of candidates for local assemblies and mayors, indicate that PiS will also want to go along with issues of other, larger and smaller projects or investments in them? direction – what unites more than divisions within the parties?
Also. What is happening around the CPK makes me very happy, because it shows that Polish society and Polish citizens have started to speak out loud about what they want. That they want development and investment. That they want Poland to simply behave like any Western country, in accordance with its interests, without micromania and without complexes
– points to Radosław Fogiel.
Because, contrary to what our political competitors say, the CPK is not a ‘delusions of grandeur’. When built according to current assumptions, it will be the twelfth largest airport in Europe. This is exactly what Poland needs today. We cannot speak here of any ‘delusions of grandeur’ or ‘overscaling’ of this project
– judges.
Thanks to this investment, Poland will develop in terms of transport connections, both within and outside the country. This investment will allow the continuous development of LOT Polish Airlines, which will be able to compete with other European airlines. This is an investment that will make us a serious player in the freight market, which will bring really big revenues to the budget
– says the PiS MP.
This is the investment we need. During the parliamentary campaign we said that there was a fear that this kind of investment would be inhibited by those in power today. I have the impression that it seemed unbelievable to many at the time. Only when they saw these desperate attempts to find arguments against it – including Donald Tusk’s lies about some expert opinions on the CPK that were supposed to be negative – no one ever saw such an expert opinion.
– he adds.
I think this also caused many Poles, when they saw what was happening, to decide to mobilize around this project. And we want such projects for Poland: both on a national scale and on a local government scale. New sewage treatment plants, new roads, new schools, new health centers – these are our local projects that, as we said at the convention, we are in favor of
– summarizes the interlocutor of wPolityce.pl.
