I am the Prime Minister, so it is clear that we finally have the PLN 600 billion from the EU – this is how Donald Tusk summarized the decision to unblock European funds for Poland on Friday evening in an online place.
On Thursday, after almost three years, the European Commission formally released 137 billion euros for Poland in the National Housing Plan and cohesion policy funds.
A bizarre place
On Friday, Prime Minister Donald Tusk referred to this decision in a spot on his official TikTok profile. The material was titled “I’m the Prime Minister, so it’s clear that…”. Among the obvious things that the head of government brings, Tusk mentions the lack of time for his family, the view of ducks from the window of his home… in Łazienki Park, and the protection of an SOP officer while jogging. We hear, among other things: “I am the Prime Minister, so it is obvious that if I turn a tenner, Mr. Tomek from SOP also turns a tenner.”
But I’m the only one out of breath
– adds Tusk.
The material ends with the statement: “I’m the Prime Minister, so it’s clear that we finally have the EU’s 600 billion.”
It was intended as self-promotion, but it turned out to be a self-parody. However, Tusk forgot that he is not only the leader of PO, but also the head of the Polish government. This should be binding.
