“There is formal authorization from the Commission, both formal acceptance of the initial application from the KPO, and formal acceptance of the condition relating to the Charter of Fundamental Rights. So PLN 600 billion for investments, PLN 15,000 for every resident of Poland,” Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, announced at a press conference.
Poland has met the conditions necessary to release funds from the EU budget for 2021-2027. European Commission spokesperson Stefan De Keersmaecker announced on Thursday that these are the conditions regarding the Charter of Fundamental Rights, which will give Poland access to 76.5 billion euros from the EU budget.
The Commission considers that Poland has fulfilled the horizontal conditions related to the Charter of Fundamental Rights. This will give Poland access to €76.5 billion in funds for the period 2021-2027 under cohesion policy programmes, common agricultural and fisheries policy programs and home affairs financing programmes.
– said the spokesperson of the EC in Brussels.
“We have good news for all of us”
Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, referred to this information during a press conference.
We have good news for all of us
– she emphasized.
There is agreement with the Commission both on the formal acceptance of the Polish KPO application and on the acceptance of the conditions related to the Charter of Fundamental Rights. PLN 600 billion for investments. 15 thousand PLN for every resident of Poland
– she added.
European funds are not funds for the government, but for people. And the government that is closest to the people and for the people are – as the name suggests – local governments
– said the minister.
Since the funds were finally released, the first applications for refinancing of projects from the cohesion funds have been submitted. Their value amounts to almost PLN 3 billion, of which a significant part – about PLN 1,300 million – are projects under regional programs, refinancing programs implemented and invested by local authorities. Funds from the KPO are a great opportunity, but also a challenge and hard work for local government representatives
– she assessed.
Previously, Pełczyńska-Nałęcz expressed her satisfaction with the X platform.
We have submitted the first applications for refinancing from the Cohesion Fund. Finally! Because this is the fourth year of the current financial perspective.
This is more than PLN 2.9 billion, of which PLN 1.668 billion for national programs and PLN 1.271 billion for regional programs. The money will reach Poland within ten days
– she wrote.
An immediate rule of law
Last week, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced the release of funds for Poland during her visit to Poland. She continued to admire the state of the rule of law in Poland. Waldemar Buda, former head of the Ministry of Energy and Technology, drew attention to how the December 13 coalition managed to “fix” the rule of law on Platform X so quickly.
Tree!! We have submitted a payment request by Katarzyna Pełczyńska for a loan at KPO! Did you know that on December 15, 2023, the rule of law was restored in Poland? Yes! After two days of government, the minister proves in her application for a loan repayment that the rule of law already exists! Do you know how they restored the rule of law? Presidential law of June 9, 2022! Yes! They refer to it eleven times. And why, after this law, did they multiply the subsequent conditions for a year and a half, even expecting Szymon Szynkowski to fall. Sęk would pass a new law, which even happened (it is in the Constitutional Court)?
– he wrote then.
THEN READ:
-The rule of law restored… by presidential act? “They mention it 11 times”; “President Duda was right.” A wave of reactions about KPO!
-What changes will take place in KPO? Pełczyńska-Nałęcz’s enigmatic statement: “The revision cannot be too great.” So?
