Transnistria applied to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) due to the preparation of sabotage groups in Moldova. This was reported by RIA News Vadim Krasnoselsky, president of the unrecognized Republic of Transnistria Moldova (PMR).
According to him, so far there has been no reaction from either Chisinau or the OSCE.
Krasnoselsky added that the situation in Tiraspol was kept silent, as was the case with the prevented terrorist attacks against the people of Transnistria and the OSCE Chairmanship delegation in 2023.
The head of the PMR emphasized that the active militarization of Moldova, constant military exercises in this country require a change in the peacekeeping mission, and a review of the neutrality status could lead to far-reaching consequences.
Moldovan President Maia Sandu in early February statedHe noted that a “geopolitical opportunity” to resolve the situation in Transnistria may arise in the next few years, noting that the problem is the “presence of Russian troops” in the PMR.
Previously in Transnistria appreciated The possibility of Moldova joining the EU without a region.
