Seven PiS MPs were – in accordance with the request of the President of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia – punished with deprivation of their parliamentary allowance for a period of three months; now we are waiting for possible appeals – said the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm, Monika Wielichowska (KO), after the meeting of the Presidium of the Sejm.
Marshal Hołownia said he would recommend to the Presidium of the Sejm to impose a maximum penalty on seven MPs who clashed with Marshal Guard officers during an attempt to introduce Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik to the Sejm.
The marshal named PiS MPs: Małgorzata Gosiewska, Katarzyna Sójka, Edward Siarka, Jan Dziedziczak, Antoni Macierewicz, Jacek Bogucki and Jerzy Polaczek.
The Sejm presidium met on Tuesday and afterwards Wielichowska told journalists that after reviewing the material the decision was made to punish PiS MPs.
We watched the marshal guard commander’s footage in slow motion from several cameras. There are seven MPs, including two female MPs. We saw jostling, grabbing the hand, the neck, the arm twisting, it was all visible
– emphasized the Deputy Chairman of the Sejm.
Punishment – yes, the Speaker (of the Sejm) has taken steps to punish the MPs by denying them their parliamentary allowance for a period of three months. And the Presidium agreed with this decision and now appeals will probably be submitted to the Presidium and we will consider them.
– said Wielichowska.
She added that all PiS MPs were punished in the same way.
As you can see, Marshal Szymon Hołownia, who himself caused the chaos in connection with the alleged loss of parliamentary seats by Maciej Wasik and Mariusz Kamiński, has now taken a hand in punishing PiS politicians who demanded the right of two MPs to attend are in the elections. Sejm session.
